odd

I cut the cake and walked into the breakroom (next to our dept) to wash my hands. There was someone from another dept in there, so I offered her a piece of cake. She said, "No. Thank you."

Current mood: Baffled. I mean, who turns down cake?

Diabetics.

People with Khrone's Disease.

People who are trying to cut sugar for other health reasons, because white sugar is bad for you.

I mean, I would have been on that cake like white on rice, but there are good reasons not to partake.

Awww, I was just being silly. You are no fun! ;)

Actually, I would have turned it down if I'd have known they got me one with whipped cream frosting. I hate the stuff.

They asked me what kind of cake I wanted. I told them any kind as long as it didn't have whipped cream frosting. (Buttercream is fine, cream cheese, fudge, etc.)

Now I have this icky creamy tummy ache and nausia. The stuff just makes me sick, always has (that and fatty red meat). To their credit, they thought it was buttercream. And now I won't eat more than one small piece. So, it's actually a *good* thing. :)
